I was worried our eyes will hurt if I buy this lamp. But not in the least. If you dont look directly at the lamp its ok. It gives good light over the table. Not very warm, not very white, something in the middle but closer to white.

Deze hanglamp heeft een mooie en opvallende vorm. Ik had helder wit besteld. De lichtopbrengst voor een lamp van 40 Watt is enorm. De hele woonkamer wordt erdoor verlicht. Dimmen is helaas niet mogelijk. Deze hanglamp is prima geschikt voor een werkplek waar veel licht nodig is. Achteraf gezien had ik voor de woonkamer beter warm wit kunnen kiezen.

Hanging wires where both bent but since they can be replaced and most probably I will have to cut the bent part away to shorten the cords anyway, I am giving a GOOD rating

Wanted something that was different then what is available locally. This is it. Power supply wires are very small and are almost the same size as the cable 1 of the 2 wires to hang the light is power and other is cable. Just pull on the cable as needed to your desired height. From Canada and had to fabricate a cover for the standard octagon power box as the mounting box for this light is much narrower. Running off of 120 volt power, lots of light over the dining room table. Light is given off at all angles, something I was not anticipating. So the light shines up as much as it does down. Be careful what you clean it with as the acrylic takes on a different color, even fingerprints. Brokerage was reasonable and shipping was super fast to Canada 4 days I think Nice light.

Before buying these fixtures I bought 2 of them I had gone to the local lighting store. they had a simulator model without the curves. I was shock by their price tag. I bought the two fixtures delivered to my door in 5 days, for less than half the price they wanted for just one. These beautiful fixture now hang over our dining table and kitchen island. they were a litttle tricky to install because we had to alter the the ceiling 6 inch electrical box because the mounts on the fixture is only 4 inches.
