Very surprised by the quality of this dress. I ordered an inch up for my custom measurements and I’m glad I did. A bit of bunching from the built in bra, but not super noticeable. Can’t wait to wear it!

This dress surpassed all my expectations! its just gorgeous, fit perfectly, was made of beautiful heavy material. It was also delivered within 2 weeks, much faster than the expected delivery. The bead belt is very loosly stitched on and i think i need to get that fixed before the wedding but overall just a gorgeous dress. The picture looks a but funny in places because of wrinkles and Im not wearing the right under things for the dress yet.

I was so amazed by the wonderful quality of this dress. 4 layers, nice stitching, true sizing. I wear a street size 10, and am thicker in the waist, so thinking I needed to buy size up as typically gowns run small, I bought a 14 and my seamstress had to take 4 inches out. When initially ordering, I accidentally ordered the wrong color. I quickly messaged the company and within 23 hours they fixed error and I received the right dress 2 weeks later. I did modify the sleeves so they were not so "angel wing" like and added pearls around the waist and sleeves. I bought the matching shoes from here as well. I loved the whole look and felt wonderful and beautiful. Thank you Light in the Box for helping me look and feel beautiful on my wedding day!!

This dress is absolutely beautiful! I am so glad I ordered instead of letting fear cause me to spend more money. I will say that the length is longer than I anticipated since I sent custom measurements. Ill either have to 1 buy a slightly poufy slip, 2 wear 4-5" heels, or 3 have someone shorten it. The quality is excellent. The clear snaps on the inside of the cuffs will have to be moved as they are made to accommodate wrists even thicker than mine, but it wont affect the appearance, as there are fabric-covered buttons on the outside that will stay where they are. I was pleasantly surprised to find light boning in the bodice as well as I dont know what its called that grippy stuff sewn along the top of the bodice to help hold it against the skin. On the downside there is some stitching through the pleats on the bodice, and Im not sure if it was for the actual pleating or for another reason, but their position is awkward and Ill have to carefully remove them. They were not sewn straight, either, so I dont believe they need to stay. There are two lines of them - right above and right below the fullest part of the bust. As the dress came folded in a nice bag, it will need to be pressed at the dry cleaners before the wedding. I will need to purchase a garment bag for it. Overall I am highly satisfied and would highly recommend ordering from Light In The Box! Maybe just do like I did and order it quite far in advance so if you need to make any alterations you have time.

I was so apprehensive about ordering this dress. I ordered my size through the measurements. That fit very well, but I regret that I didn’t check the length first before ordering as it’s incredibly long. That’s on me though, so please check that for yourself. The material is beautiful and well made, I’m looking forward to wearing my dress after the alterations.

Very pleased with the quality of this dress. The material was very soft, even my seamstress was impressed. Understanding how formals fit, I ordered 3 sizes up and the dress was huge on me. Order only 1 size up. I loved wearing this dress!
