Great at the beach for drying after a shower, I only kept it for that use. It dries in a very short time and after numerous washes the colors are still brilliant.

As far as absorbency, it does well with just drying you off but would not be for something like soaking up water. I love how soft on the skin it is too.

The drying of the body with the towel is very good, you have to get used to the fabric, which is not like cotton ones, but once you get used to it, they dry even better than the others, then you stretch it, put it on the chair and in a few minutes it is completely dry.
