The boots are brown, not yellow, and Im delighted with them. They tie instead of having a zip, but its easy, being at the side of the leg, more decorative than functional. Very easy to put on and take off and comfortably loose. Ill be able to wear thick socks with them in cold weather

Sole is very warm. Dont have cold feet in these boots. The processing is just great.
